She graduated in architecture from the Milano Polytechnic in 1994 after having attended a year abroad at the Ecole Superieure de Creation Industrielle in Paris. During her profession as an architect and interior designer, Michela develops a strong interest in art, by frequenting many artists and galleries alongside Ruggero Montrasio, highly esteemed gallery owner in Milan, Monza and Innsbruck. Since 2016 she is a member of the Innauction auction house in Innsbruck, specializing in contemporary art and design auctions. She designs the arrangement and displays of several exhibits working alongside the artists.
From 2005 to 2017 together with her father Gerardo she organized seven editions of the Biennale Giovani in Monza.
In 2007 with Ruggero Montrasio follows the opening of the Harlem Studio Fellowship, non-profit of artistic residences programme in New York.
In 2011 as the co-founder of Green Street and she helps to organize the event that takes place in May that year with many events, including the exhibition Before the cock crows, which sees the combination of important Italian artists of the 900’s together with international artists, protagonists of land art.
From 2012 to 2015 she organizes the Festival degli Orti (Festival of Edible Landscapes) at the Royal Palace in Monza, which presents installations by renowned artists and architects.
In May 2017 she founded a space dedicated to art in Milan, where she organizes different events, private showings, exhibits and a bespoke Supper Club, which combines art and food, through the presence of artists who share their experiences and art workshops. She has collaborated with the 2017 and 2018 editions of Miart, opening the doors of her unique home-gallery space and her personal collection.
From 1994 to 2012 she was Associate Partner of Assostudio srl, architecture, urban planning and engineering firm based in Monza. She was President of the College of Architects and Engineers of Monza from 2002 to 2006 and from 2006 to 2012 she taught architecture at the Milan Polytechnic.
For the Michelin starred restaurant Pomiroeu in Seregno, she organizes literary dinners and art exhibitions.
She recently started a collaboration with Safilo on the scouting of artists in order to develop of one of the brand's collections.
